We liked Heatherton for kids, the Marina in Saundersfoot for fish and chips, Narbeth for concentration of smart shops and galleries ( a bit of Surrey in Pembrokeshire!), No. 25 Café in Tenby and Amroth for rock pools. Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire lovely. Make sure you do the St David’s walk from the Welcome Pack on a nice day. It’s a real highlight. Folly Farm great for the kids. Barafundle close to Stackpole is beautiful. Cilgerion Castle near Cardigan and Pembroke Castle are worth a visit. Thanks for a wonderful two weeks. Lastly, a good Greek restaurant is Mykosos in the Castle wall at Tenby – good value. Spotless and very homely. We have had fantastic weather and 5 days of sunshine, never dropping below 26oC. The coastal walks are fantastic. St David’s is definitely worth a trip and the local Cawl (lamb stew) was welcome nourishment for hungry walkers. Thank you.
